Parunika Sudhir Sisodia was born on Thursday, September 1st, 2005, in Doula village, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She turned 17 in 2022 and her zodiac sign is Virgo. Her family later moved to Delhi, where she currently attends class 11 at Bharat National Public School (as of 2023).
From a young age, Parunika showed a natural aptitude for sports, excelling in both tennis and cricket. After achieving success in tennis, she decided to focus on cricket. Cricket
Parunika’s cricket career began at the age of 14 with the Delhi Women’s U-19 team. In her first tournament, she impressively took 17 wickets, securing an eighth-place ranking among India’s top bowlers. This success led to her selection for Delhi’s Senior Women’s team in 2021-22, where she further impressed selectors by taking 14 wickets.
Her achievements continued in the 2022-23 T20 tournament for Delhi U-19 Women, where she claimed 11 wickets. This performance earned her a spot on the Under-19 India B team. Playing against Sri Lanka and the West Indies, she contributed significantly by taking five wickets in just three matches.
In January 2023, Parunika showcased her skills once again, taking an outstanding 21 wickets for Delhi Women in the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy. Following this success, she represented the North Zone team in the Senior ODI Zonal Tournament in Hyderabad. Her jersey number is 27.
